This is story related and should be automatic with natural progression through. However there is a very nasty habit of it freezing during the final cut scene.

This can be avoided by pausing the game and entering the following code "N0CUT5" (that's a zero and a five, not an o and an s). This will allow the cut scene at the end, which has a habit of freezing to be skipped by pressing any button, followed by y.

Hope this helps a few others that were stuck here through no fault of their own.
