There are 5 achievements tied to arcade mode involving points. (200, 1000, 5000, 20000 and 50000)

I suggest you play on hard difficulty to increase your point yield per level.

Luckily there is an online fling solver.
The game is fast switch supported so you can hold your back button which will pause the game but not bring up the pause screen.
With the game board visible and paused you can easily fill out your fling solver with the positions of your balls.

The full 50,000 points needed for all 5 achievements will take nearly an hour using the solver.
