To get this achievement you need to get 180 out of the possible 189 spirit tokens so there is little margin for error.

There are 60 'normal' levels in the game, each level has 3 spirit tokens available. 1 for clearing the level, 1 for reaching the spirit score and 1 for reaching the spirit time. You DO NOT have to win all 3 in the same attempt! The other 9 spirit tokens come from the boss levels, they each have 1 token available which is for time.

There is a level select screen in which you can see which tokens you already have so there is no need to play an entire area just to attempt to get 1 or 2 extra tokens. The time medals are probably going to be the hardest to get, especially in the later levels. In order to get those just focus on making chains, gap shots, combos and getting fruit. A chain is earned by making consecutive matches of 3 or more colors, a gap shot is earned by shooting through a gap in your stream of balls to create a match and a combo is made when you make a match and the balls to the left and right of your match form another set of 3. The fruit randomly appears and is typically located behind the string of balls so you have to create a gap to reach it.

There is no clear cut solution to getting the speed token on each level but there are certain tips I can give to make it easier. Let's start with what spirit animals to use. The first 3 spirit animals will help a great deal with getting the time medals, the 4th is useless. The monkey when fully upgraded makes fruit appear twice as often and fruit is worth twice the points, the cheetah makes you shoot twice as fast and the rabbit gives you 50% more power-ups. My personal preference is to go for the speed upgrade first and then the fruit bonus but just experiment with it at your leisure. You can freely downgrade spirit animals to get tokens back to try a different setup.

While combos and gap shots earn you most points they are also the hardest to make so my advice is to focus on chains and only go for the others when the opportunity arises. While speed is obviously important when going for the speed token, accuracy and 'smart shooting' are equally important. Shooting accurately means you won't accidently mess up the chain you have going. With 'smart shooting' I mean you try and keep your chain alive wherever possible. For example let's say you have a red ball and a green ball you can shoot and there are no places to make a set with the red ball and for the sake of the example there are 2 places you can make a set with your green ball. The 2 places looking like this: yellow - green - green - blue and red - green - green - red. For the first shot (your green ball) it doesn't matter which option you pick, but if you end up with another red ball you won't have any options anymore. So if you shoot at the second example with the green ball you make sure you can use your red ball afterwards and give yourself a chance to keep your chain alive. When there are absolutely no more matches you can make work on setting up the board again, depending on how many more points you need you can choose to make groups of 2 colors to get another chain going or if you're almost there you can try setting up a combo or two.

Another tip is to know your power-ups and use them effectively. Bombs can be used to clear large areas of alternating single colored balls that you can't use to keep your chain going or you can create a gap with them to get a gap shot or get that hard to reach fruit. The tri-shot goes through your string of balls and can be used to directly shoot a fruit or to grab another power-up.

Getting the speed token often gets you the points token too, but that's not guaranteed. The point token is awarded after the level and based on your total score AFTER bonuses. The fourth spirit animal is the eagle and it gives you a 10% increase in points once fully upgraded. The key to getting higher scores is to shoot the score multipliers as soon as possible. They don't have to be in a chain and they'll keep counting for the remainder of the level. Each multiplier you make a set with increases your multiplier by 1 so getting them asap really helps.

The Boss levels I can't really say much about. Just learn the boss patterns and you shouldn't have too many issues getting the time, chains and such aren't important in those and neither is score.

That's almost all the advice I have for today, if you had the patience to read all of this then you'll most likely also have the patience to keep trying the levels you're struggling with to finally get that token you're looking for. Which is the last piece of advice I can give you, be patient and don't give up, practice makes perfect and playing the same level again multiple times will lead to better results eventually. Good luck!
