## Achievement Guide for Duke of Carcassonne

Solution
It goes without saying that the achievements for playing 200 games and scoring over 15k points are going to be a massive grind. This is the most efficient way I've found so far.

For the points. You will obviously score the most points if you play a local game against a guest. Use the guest to help your main account score points by, for example building on a city/road that already contains one of your main account's settlers, or adding surrounding tiles to a cloister occupied by them. It should be obvious, but you should never lay down a settler with your guest. Just concentrate on helping your main account rack up the points.

For the games: Games take a relatively long time (at least 15 minutes), however you play them. The most efficient way in terms of requiring the least interaction from you is to set up a local game with 5 AI. This way, you only have to play one move in six, so you can leave the game running while you do other things and just check it every couple of minutes to play your move.

Now, the question really is how many "points" games you will need, compared to how many "game" games to complete both achievements as efficiently as possible.

I would say that you should be able to average 150-200 points when you play with a guest and around 40 points when you play with 5 AIs so using these estimates, you will need to play the following to net both achievements:-

64 "point" games @ 150 = 9600pts
136 "game" games @ 40 = 5440pts

Total: 200 games, 15040 points

If you're averaging significantly differently from this, you may have to play around with the above estimate.

If anyone has a better way of doing this, I'd love to hear it, as even though it's possible to be AFK for 5/6 of the time, it's going to be a long and tedious grind....at least 50-60 hours
