The Doom fight is simple enough. If you run right as you enter the room you will see a switch on a pedestal that fires a laser across the middle area. Change the camera angle to look where you're firing and shoot when you see doom. Once he's hit he falls to the ground and can take damage. He waits around and does a few attacks on the ground, then runs away to fly up again.
Should be able to kill him in two or three laser rounds, just keep moving when he fires all the energy balls from the sky.
Using power combo's works best.
