If you have Windows Phone 8.1 and access to a Windows 8 PC, you can automate this so you don't have to sit through hours of mindless grinding:

First, download Project My Screen from It claims to work on Windows 7, but it appears that you can only send input back to the phone with Windows 8.

You might have to uninstall your existing Windows Phone drivers from your PC first if you have trouble getting this to work. [Thanks to TRON0314 for this tip.]

Second, get TinyTask from here: It's a free tool that lets you record actions and replay them.

Now, connect your phone to your computer via USB. Launch the Project My Screen App (you should get a prompt on your phone asking if it's okay), hit ESC to exit full screen mode (so you get a cursor on your PC).

Launch TinyTask. Set the recording hotkey to F8. (The default of CAS-R seems to mess up the Project app and F12 causes the Project app to quit. And my PC doesn't have a PrintSc button.) Load up any level -- I liked Crystal 28. Hit F8, then choose the corner menu, restart, play the level, then hit F8. TinyTask doesn't record touch, so be sure to use your mouse when playing the level.

Now, in TinyTask, swap the hotkeys around so that playback is F8, and Continuous Replay is enabled. Make sure Project My Screen has focus, the game is in the middle of the level, and hit F8. You should see it play the level. Let it run (the phone will charge off the USB connection and the activity should keep both the PC and the Phone from going to sleep.

Regarding the choice of level -- it seems like there is a random amount of lag so you want to pick a level that does not require very precise shots. Crystal 18, mentioned in the other solution, requires an accurate shot with the first bird to blow the middle planet and I couldn't get that to reliably record.

Thanks to janiwesterling for pointing out the possibilities of the Project My Screen app.
