Here i found two Videos of where the symbol's are and thay may be a bit fuzzy but thay are spot on :)
I watched both videos to make sure thay were correct.

Comments from gamer's i thought should also be added to the solution:
1) for the shanghi level (act 1) there are indeed three symbols prior to getting to the fight with Doom, but I believe they are all on the right side & none on the left. It is a bit confusing becuase much of the map is repeated. but before you enter the garage area, look thoroughly behind all the buildings and you will find all three.

2) Shanghai
During the fight with Doom, all the way to the back of the area, behind a fence.
This one is not on the video posted in your solution, and it was the one I needed! You'll know if you need this one too as the "extra" that it unlocks is the Shanghai Environment and Concept Art extra.

| i can confirm that the shanghai Environment and Concept Art extra is located to the left side of a bus shortly after starting the lincoln tunnel level, i know its not really a solution but i searched the internet for hours trying to find this location and if i can save even one person from doing the same its worth it. thanks guys |
