First off, screw this damn game. Second, thanks to Terrin for telling me the stage he did it on and how. The problem I was having with his suggestion is that enemies that CAN drop powerups drop different ones depending on what you currently have. Once I finally figured it out I wanted to write a solution to save people the trouble of dealing with this.

For this achievement, you need to use your finishing move (obtained from some enemies, the ones with orbs above their head) and kill 4 enemies in one hit. For this, go to stage 2 on kids difficulty with the red ranger (difficulty may not matter, I did it on kids). Progress through the stage. Very early on you'll get a finishing move. Use it immediately. Continue through the stage until you see the second enemy with an orb. Cut him down and he will give you the weapon powerup. Know what he gives you if you still have your finishing move? Nothing. Because fuck you, that's why. This is where I had problems.

Anyway, after claiming the weapon powerup, the next group of enemies will have another guy with an orb, he will give you a finishing move. The next group of enemies is a group of 5 that will rush toward you. All you need to do is now is activate the finishing move and then attack with the sword when they crowd around you. The sword has long enough range that it should get them all, but the stage is short so it thankfully does not take long to retry. There is a second group of 4 right after the 5, so you can attempt on them too. Once I figured out how to get the weapon powerup early, I got it first try.
