in Order to get this achievement you are going to need to play ALOT
you can, as said before play a song over and over till you get this but i find it easier to go for all the other achievements while you can(this varies with how good you are at the game)
Step 1: Play through Easy and 5 star everything(getting you 2 achievements, i would also recommend turning on left flip to get the "hendrix reborn" achievement as well)
Step 2:play through medium and 5 star everything getting you another two achievements
Step 3: play through hard and try to 5 star everything getting you one or two achievements.
Step 4:Play expert and try to 5 star if you can(if you can it will save you alot of time)
Final step: after 5 starring all difficulties or doing as many as you can, find a good group of 5+songs that you are really good at AND are high scoring(such as One, All nightmare long if you have it, number of the beast ETC)
after playing those songs a couple times everyday the achievement should come naturally(which makes you realize 100,000,000 is alot of points |

| I unlocked this achievement when I only had 73,000,000 overall score, so it keeps track of the score, even if you play a song over and over. So basically you can play one song that you can get a high score on over and over again, and you'll eventally unlock the achievement. I found out the hard way that my overall score doesn't have to be 100,000,000. Just thought that I'd post this to clear it up for anyone else who is trying :) lol |

I found a good way to accumulate a high overall score is to play the "Death Magnetic" Album DLC. It's also forward compatible to World Tour and GH: Metallica. If you don't like Metallica then I wouldn't download it just for an achievement.
Songs like All Nightmare Long on expert will net you around 700k with a good star power path or at least around 600k.
Cyanide is slightly shorter but with a good path (Save SP for the triplets) you can get at least 550k. Pretty much every song minus a few it's possible to get at least 500k. All Nightmare Long it is possible to get 750k and get Now That's Impressive aswell. (Mine is 745k >_< ).
This is a lot faster than replaying songs in career which will net you 400k maximum for a long song. |

K so this is how i did it. I honestly wasn't even trying for it when it happened either. But here ya go.
Whenever you play a song use your career. Don't EVER use quickplay. I always played in my career since i would rather have all the highest scores in there rather than quickplay anyway. But because i did that i got it on accident one day. It shouldn't be too hard if you keep doing that. |

| Just to let people know, this, (and Too many to Count), can be achieved even after failing, or restarting a song. I know I don't have it on this account, but I will soon. I unlocked it on another account. So you don't have to finish a song for it to count. |

I'm Pritty sure this has to be done under one band in carrer mode as i would have got this ALOT sooner if it included online play ETC so do as RandyGam3Freak suggested with working through all the carrer difficultys as this will help towards 250,000 notes and $350,000 earnings.
I found my best scores came on the hard difficulty averaging,
290,000 on Number of the Beast
260,000 on When You Were Young
370,000 on Story of my Life
320,000 on Cherub Rock
Tier 5 also has songs which are easy 200k scores
Play your best and favoiute ones over and over, try hitting 100% on them and trying to beat previous best scores on the song is good motivtion to keep playing them again.
Also have a look at scorehero.com, sign up and then you can aim to get good scores to post on the site and see how good you really are compared to other people, it is better to think you are doing the songs for this than wondering when you are going to get your 100,000,000 points, it will come alot quiker.

| I just got this achievement today and it didn't really take that long. First off I beat all the careers and 5 starred all of them as well. After that you should be at least half way there depending on how good you are and how many times you replayed songs. Then just pick a song, preferrably on expert that you can score at least 500k on and play it over and over again. I downloaded the metallica track and got 760k on All Nightmare Long. I just replayed that over and over again. And YES you CAN get this achievement on a downloaded song because I just got it TODAY on All Nightmare Long. |

if you legitly work towards the enlightened guitarist achievement this one will be in the bag. Although when you miss a note don't restart just finish the song, gives you good practice too. (Check out my solution on the enlightened guitarist for the best list of songs to gold star)
other than that just 5 star everything everywhere in career (Co-op does not count)
if you can beat Through the fire and flames, just play this over and over, it gives you practice and you'll only get better if you cant beat ttfaf then go to my solution on the inhuman achievement and you'll learn how to.
other than that if you cant do these things work towards them and it will come in due time |

| I have been doing Cherub Rock on Expert, and I find that I get the best bang for the buck on that song. I can consistently get 450,000+ and it is 1300 notes hit, so that goes a long way to the 250,000 notes achievement and the 100 Million Points. Its a long haul either way. |

Just play Flannigans Ball, thats a downloadsong, on Hard or Expert you can make 500.000 Points a Playthrough.
Or like the other said play play plaaaaayyyyyy |

The following Solution is legit.
ALL CREDIT GOES TO "GACYS CLOWN" FOR THE FIND.
(please do not down vote me for not having obtained the achievement as of yet.I currently have 82 million)
step by step guide to find out your total for campaign score.
1.) When on the main menu to GH3 click the "XBOX LIVE" button. (It will bring you to the xbox live menu)
2.) Click the "LEADERBOARDS" button on the xbox live menu.
3.) Click the "SINGLE PLAYER" button from the leaderboard menu.
4.) Click the button that says "CAMPAIGN"
5.) Look on the left hand side, there will be a number there. That is your total score for the 100million points. |

| I got this today and i was confused like alot of poeple. First always play under campain. Dont matter with band. Never reply aways let it save thwn select the song again. I am a good hard player so i played flannings ball over and over again just trying to beat my old score i kept scoring 400,000 wirh makes it alottle over 100,000 per minute. My guess that it counts if you quit or reply but i wanted ro make sure. DLC count and so do bonus songs. You might have notice that the xbox live leaderboard dont always work but aslong as you save youll be fine i got the achievement with 70million. I got 40million in a week boosting and going for the 350,000$ achievement. If you need help please ask. I does come faster then you think ;-) |
