*Some Skill Required*
Two ways of doing this:
1.X-Stream (Easiest way) :
You will need to 100% this song with a good star pattern.A perfect star pattern and easy to remember is always you star power when the triple notes come out.One of those section has star notes so use star power when you finish getting that extra star power.
NOTE:In the end you will have around 490-495k.Don't worry,just don't miss any notes at the end(not hard since last part is slow)
Once you have finished the song you will have 505k and achievement should unlock.
2.Free Bird (Hardest way) :
You will need to get around 95-97% with this song in order to get 500k.Basically you'll need to get the slow part perfected,Get a good 4x with solos,and have a good star pattern.

| X-Stream and Free Bird certainly work if you're a good expert player, but if you're not so good, try Free Bird on hard. I got the achievement with a score of 504,493, -27, and I didn't really follow the path all that much. |

| The easiest way to get this achievement is arguably to do it on X-Stream. You'll need to be very good at the song, you should be going for an FC with the 500k run, 99% at the very lowest. If you go to a website called ScoreHero there's a set of forums specifically for discussing different songs in the Guitar Hero games, on X-Stream's forum there is a topic which has an optimal star power path. Practise and memorize that path, and you should be able to get over 500k in a couple genuine tries. Don't give up if you're far into the song and it looks like you're not gonna make it -- people will often scrape the 500k mark so always push forward 'till the end unless you've missed a couple notes earlier (it's a good idea to restart when you miss notes, if you miss them in a bad spot then you won't get 500k and anywhere else you'll be cutting it very very very close and really unless you miss near the end it isn't worth the time to see if you'll be ok.) In general the song is easy, pretty much just a bunch of double-strumming so it's nothing complicated or technical. By far the easiest hard achievement in the game so if you're cracking down on the game you'll likely get it before Kick the Bucket or Start a Real Band. |

The best and most realistic way to get this achievement is to play X-Stream on Expert Guitar. The song isn't too bad, although you will need to play almost flawlessly, and use star power at the right time.
Use the star power path in the video below and get at least 99% (or 100%) to get this achievement, good luck.
An alternative is to play Freebird on Hard/Expert if your skill permits.

| I got this achievement on the song X-Steam on expert. This is an extra song so you will have to buy it from the shop. You can either do this in career or quickplay. When I got this achievement I only missed one note and I got around 505k. I only used star power 2 times I think. I saved it for the parts with the triple notes (green, yellow, blue). Use the first star power after you hit the triple note star power. It's kind of difficult for some people to still strum that fast while tilting the guitar but eventually you'll get it. The second star power you'll use as soon as the triple notes start again. You can only miss one note while using this star power pattern. Good Luck. It's actually not that hard once you play the song about 5 times like I did. |

FC Jordan with perfect activation on the perfect path and you'll get 502k. >:-D
Nah, seriously, X-Stream Expert is by far the easiest way to go on this one folks. Killing In The Name and Freebird (even on Hard) are options, but X-Stream is comfortably the easiest. Still needs near-perfect performance - I overstrummed and scraped home by 850 points - but practice, patience and a good strum arm will see you home. |

| FREE BIRD!!! Actually it's quite the opposite, you should probably play X-Stream by Voivod. It's a bonus song that you must buy from the store. You need to be on EXPERT and you need to 100% it, you can miss 1 or 2. You need to use your star power on the chords- [GreenYellowBlue](star power), [RedBlueOrange], [YellowBlueOrange]. If you play flawlessly through those parts and use star power on them ,then there's no worry. Just don't miss that much. BTW there are 1337 notes in the song.
