You need to clear a total of 40 songs with at least a grade of 'D' in the game mode. It's important to make sure you do not change any of the speed or arrow setting before starting the song otherwise it won't count toward unlocking the achievement. You can play on any difficulty level and I recommend using the xbox controller to make this even easier.

All you need to do is complete 40 songs with a grade of "D" or higher. It does not matter what difficulty.
