This can seem daunting at first, however there is quite a simply strategy that can get it done fairly easily.


You're going to want a team of 5, with 2 soldiers, 2 engineers and 1 medic.

Covering the left spawn, you want a soldier and an engineer. Same on the right. The medic will hop between each spawn depending where the firepower or health is needed.

The engineer needs to be up close right at the Locust spawn entrance, constantly tossing sentries down and two piecing (melee then shoot, it's fine, bots don't have feelings...). Whenever the fortifications start getting attacked, you NEED to repair them ASAP. Toss a sentry down to keep the Locust back whilst you repair your fortifications. It's fine if you lose your first set of fortifications, but ideally you need the fortifications guarding the E-Hole to stick until wave 10 at least.

The soldier needs to hang back and fire Booshka's and Lancer fire as much as possible, tossing ammo down at his own feet or at the Engineers when needed. Inbetween waves you can always regroup at the centre and get ammo from one box which is handy.

The medic's key role is obviously to revive health, however the Sawed-Off is lethal and is very useful in taking out Maulers and Corpsers. The Lancer can also be useful in extra firepower for a side that is being attacked more heavily (trust me, you'll get times where one side has no enemies and one side has a ton - in these situations the soldier should move to the other side and leave the engineer on guard).

The right side (looking from COG spawn) is notably harder to defend being more open, so put your better players there or make that a priority for the Medic.

The hardest enemies to counter are the Mauler (distract him with an engineer, leaving him open to fire from soldier/medic), Serapede (again distract with the engineer, leaving his tail open to fire) and the Corpser (which you're best of getting a medic/engineer behind him shooting shotgun shells at him).
