How to unlock the Purple is a fruit achievement

    Mostly luck-based achievement, whether or not the game actually throws them out to you is completely random. They look kinda similar to red apples and passionfruits, but you want to slice every fruit that shows up anyway, so don't worry too much about picking out which is which. Just keep on slicing until the achievement pops.
    Berry Blast and Bomb Deflect boosts from the dojo can help you survive for longer.
    And just a note: hitting a critical plum does NOT count as 10 plums, it still only counts as one.

    This achievement was a pain in the backside for me but the thing that helped me the most was deliberately failing rounds around the 100 score mark based on how often the plums were showing up. If in the first 20-40 fruits you have 1 or 0 plums then quit. If you have no more than 4 plums on the 100 mark quit. Use bomb deflects and restart if plums are scarce. I was on 310 fruit when this popped and it was within 20 minutes of me trying this out as a method. I had been trying for a few months.Good luck.

    ThycountHar Miggido, this is an awesome tip, i tried for hours and almost lost my nerves on this achievement... Then i read your guide, tried with a fresh mind in the morning and unlocked it on my second try, at around 350 points. I had around 6-7 plums by the 100 points mark. Buying the strawberry power up might have also helped me. Thanks !

    If you have trouble getting this, after losing in classic mode, select the brown box on the left (cart), and buy deflect bombs, you can use up to 3x in one game.
