Go into Learn a Song and highlight any song you want. Underneath the main bar that has the song title and band name, you'll see a 3 part checklist, with most common items being "Achieve --% accuracy", "Achieve -- note streak", "Achieve --% mastery", "review -- lesson", "view -- chord in chord book", and "play song in this arrangement". There are others, but these will show up most often.

The "view -- chord in chord book" item is by far the easiest to complete. Cursor down and highlight it. Click it, and the note chart for that particular chord will pop up. Back out of the chart screen and enjoy the big green checkmark that appears next to that item.

As for the other ones, you'll have to play through the song to complete them. If its your first time playing through a song, the goals are usually quite easy, such as "achieve 1% mastery" or "achieve a 5 note streak".

Don't fret if you don't nail all 3. The ones you do complete should disappear and repopulate with new items. You can choose to play through the song again to complete these as well, or move on to a different song.

Complete 50 of those checkmarks, and this achievement should pop.

*I haven't seen anywhere in game that you can actually track your progress for completing these RS Recommends items. Keep track yourself, or just sit back and play. It should pop naturally during the course of rocking.
