The Hero of Legend achievement requires you to kill 500 monsters and can be achieved across multiple playthrough a so don't worry if you don't get this your first time around. There are a few easy ways to grind for this achievement! First off, if your not into fighting every monster you see you can easily wait Untill day 9 as monsters start spawning in groups (mainly gremlins & niblets in luxerion) which can net you anywhere from 6-10 kills. The second possible and most likely the best way is to go to about this though is to go to yusnann after you have beat the main story quest there and participate in the death game side quest which you will be tasked to kill 30 monsters but for this you want to kill only 29 so always keep a count how many you have killed. When you have 29 you can leave then come back and grind again and again Untill you have the achievement. [i would also like to thank Meszurus for the below information]

Quest Acquirement: To unlock Death Game, you need the Death Ticket item. This can be obtained by finishing the quest Death Safari, which can be triggered by the guard in Yusnaan's Industrial Area (after Main Quest 2-2). Once you have the Death Ticket, go to the other industrial area directly south of the previous one, where another guard will take your ticket, starting the quest (between 6AM to 2AM).

Grinding Suggestion: Once Death Game has started, you'll want to be in the area where the centre is divided by a cargo container, and to get to the smaller half you need to pass under a metal struct. This smaller half has a flat metal walkway against the far wall. I found that 90% of the time I was in this area, enemies spawn under the metal struct you have to pass under/through. This allows you to stand right next to it and slash them to trigger a battle quite easily, and do so fast. You will kill 30 enemies (acquiring a quest item token for each) before the quest completes - however, I recommend you quit the quest before killing the 29th one (exit by either gate) so that you can restart the quest and continue grinding after your 30th kill (since every time you fail Death Game, the quest tokens are discarded from your inventory, starting the counter from zero again). You may find it preferable to exterminate the monsters here before starting the quest, leaving you to face only Anubys monsters, which makes it easier to count to 29 kills, and makes the battles shorter. On the other hand, not exterminating the other races means that you kill more monsters per battle, but those battles take longer. So exterminate the other races based on your fighting preference.

Achievement Efficiency: This grinding method using Death Game is preferable since the entire area will be permanently in Chaos Zone effect. This means that whilst grinding out your 500 victories, you can also collect Soul Seeds after battle, helping you make progress towards the Seed Collector and Unearthly Apothecary achievements at the same time.
