You can sim this, but that route is random and the loading times are so long that playing the games is another route and it allows you to work on the single season and career Sack and Tackle achievements at the same time.
Create a new superstar, keep shuffling your parents until your dad is a Hall of Fame DE. This will get you good stats to start (probably 85+) and get you a starters spot. Sim the pre-season. Set all sliders down, game difficulty at Rookie and turn Offsides down to zero. Play 5 minute quarters. When you are on defense just run your player across the line and stand him next to the QB. As soon as the play starts use the hit stick (R Analog stick) and level him. You can get about 15-20 sacks and 30+ tackles each game. You should be able to get 1-2 forced fumbles as well.
When you are on defense you will get the opportunity to use your 'influence' to impact your stats. when you get the "QB Nightmare" option, max out all of your available stats. This will help you.
After 4 or 5 games you should have enough FF, SACKS, and Tackles for the single season records. You'll probably have over 100 sacks for the career sacks achievement as well.
At that point just sim out a few more seasons and you shouldn't have any problem getting the career tackles, FF, and sacks records. |
