## Achievement Guide for Maximum Squeeze

Solution
To win this achievement, you need to be the home team, batting in the bottom of the 9th inning during a tie game.

Get a runner on third, bunt with your next batter and quickly hit Down+X to advance the runner from third. If the runner scores, you win the game and the achievement should pop.

Keep in mind that if you have two outs and the batter who bunts is thrown out at first, the run will not count, even if the runner from third crossed home plate before the batter was thrown out.
Hey all,

So if you haven't checked out my walkthrough (which is forthcoming), I recommend you do so as it has all this information streamlined. But here is the snippet from my walkthrough (complete with a very helpful glitch!) that should help you get this achievement easily! Keep in mind that this has been patched on the Xbox one and only works on the Xbox 360 version of this game.

You can either do this in season or in an exhibition game. I did it in 'season' just because you have to play the season mode anyway, so you might as well just 'work towards it' while you're doing other things.

If you're setting up the game just to get this achievement, play an exhibition game and make sure you're the home team (Hit cn_X when selecting teams). I'd give yourself a good team (e.g., AL All Stars) and the other team a bad team (Remember it's 2014, so the Houston Astros are a good choice). Then you want to play through relatively normally, making sure you're tied with the AI going into the bottom of the 9th. If you're winning at the top of the 9th just go into your settings and turn off assisted fielding / walk everyone until the game is tied.

Once tied your goal in the bottom of the 9th is to get (ideally) your lead-off runner to first. Once you do, it's time to use a 'glitch'.

Let’s assume you have a runner on first. You want to steal second – but alas, your player is David Ortiz, the slowest player in the game (or at least close to)! What to do?! Well, you could bunt of course, but (1) the bunt could be a pop up or (2) they could still throw to second to get the slow David Ortiz. And that doesn’t even consider the fact that you’re giving up an out! So instead, use the little ‘glitch’ I found. Start your runner on first stealing second (Up + X) – mash it over and over while you wait for the pitcher to start his wind up. AS SOON AS THE PITCHER PICKS UP HIS FRONT LEG – initiating the beginning of the pitch – hit ‘Start’. Go down to ‘substitution’ and change your hitter for a pinch hitter. Once the game reloads, you’ll see that your runner is still running to second but the pitcher has reset to a ‘normal starting position’. The AI will not throw to second and your runner will make it there perfectly safe. DO KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU SHOULD THEN TAKE A STRIKE WITH YOUR BATTER AS IF YOU SWING AND POP UP, THE AI WILL THROW TO FIRST AFTERWARDS TO GET A DOUBLE PLAY. Keep in mind that you can do this trick for stealing 3rd as well. However, you can only use this trick for the amount of substitute players you have (e.g., if you have 2 bench guys, you could use this twice in a game).

Now once you have your guy to third, tell your guy to steal home (Down + cn_X) and then lay down the bunt successfully (which isn't a guarantee, but there's nothing I can do about that) - make sure you move your batter in the batter's box so that you 'bunt' the ball with the barrel of the bat (e.g., the middle). Achievement will pop immediately.
