(Elite Hero posted a solution gotten by playing the Super Monkey Ball minigame)
Alternately, you can unlock this achievement through Superstars mode. The Super Monkey Ball court has a mission dedicated to trick shots. You get 5 shots, you have to hit 3 to complete the mission. If you hit 4 or 5, you get this achievement.
Of course you'll have to unlock the mission first, but it's not hard and you'll have to do it for some of the other achievements anyway. |

| A less frustrating way of doing it selecting Super Monkey Ball through the Superstars menu and then picking "Make a trick shot". This way you get five chances of making four trickshots instead of only one and having to go through all that other crap. |

Ok, I figured out why me and apparently several others were having trouble... I think. Turns out this achievement is simply GLICHY.
If you land all 4 trick shots and get the AAA rating and don't have the cheevo just turn your console off and turn it back on and do it again. At least that's what worked for me.
For anyone else who had this let me know if this works for you. |

From the main menu select;
Games>Single Player>Super Monkey Ball.
The idea here is that you get the balls in the goals by hitting them, every other go you get a trick shot where you have to pot the black without potting the white. The best way to do this is to hit the white ball hard in the centre and you shouldn't have any troubles. |
