The key to getting this achievement is the
Sharding Sphinx obtained from the expansion. To get the card you need to get it randomly from one of the Alara expansion boosters by playing the expansion campaign or exploring the node of the expansion.
The mechanicsThe
Sharding Sphinx will allow you to put a Thopter token into play every time you deal damage to a player with an artefact creature. Hence, there are two things you need to make this work: the
Sharding Sphinx and artefact creatures. Once you have them, keep damaging your opponent without killing him to gain at least 10 Thopter's. You can gain multiple tokens per turn which makes it easier.

How to playYou will be playing three colours but your lands should help you get all the mana you need as you will be playing artefacts most of the time anyway. The 4
Etherium Sculptor's will also help you out get our cards rather quickly. You will have quite a few cards that can take care of larger creatures such as, for example,
Tidehollow Strix or the indestructible
Creepy Doll. I would advise to choose an opponent which is low on flying creatures.
Now all you need to do is wait for the
Sharding Sphinx to come along, play it and attack with low powered flying creatures or your
Creepy Doll for that matter. You can attack immediately as the ability of the
Sharding Sphinx is not an activated ability, meaning, you will benefit the turn it was cast even though the
Sharding Sphinx has summoning sickness. If your for this to work, presuming you get your first token with a creature with power 1, your opponent needs to have at least 11 life.
