Susanoo is the seventh partner you will unlock. You will need to clear the story in the fourth area, Izumo Rest Stop. This entails clearing four dungeons in order before tackling the boss in Yomotsu Hirasaka.

If you have a POW-based character and haven't already done so, go back to Onigashima and complete all of Tetsumaru the Mighty's sidequests. At this point, they're pathetically easy, and the final quest, I'm Back, rewards the Ichimonjimuneoki. This is a special variant of the sword containing the skill Spirit Empty Sky Slash VI, which is not only overpowered for the area, but deals half Slice, half Holy damage, the latter being quite important.

For every other character type, focus on Wind and Holy damage. The main enemies you'll be fighting, Musuka, are weak to these.

The first dungeon introduces fly eggs. Musukas will constantly spawn until you destroy all of them in the area. Once the last one is destroyed, they despawn instantly, so be sure to check around corners, behind destructible walls, underneath stairs, everywhere. The dungeon will not clear when you defeat the boss, but when you proceed to the next area and remove the final large fly egg, the dungeon is cleared.

Inside Yomotsu Hirasaka is the boss of the area, Beelzebub, a giant fly. While the Ichi Spirit Empty Sky Slash combo is still very effective in damaging him, you will have to deal with regularly spawning Musuka as well. Mage types should focus on Kamaitachi for its semi-homing properties, and possibly Spiral Wind when it stops moving between attack patterns, but this can be a risky manuever.

When you get back, Kyoto will be opened to you and the achievement unlocks.
