In order to complete training with Krillin, you must first accept him as your master. You do this by finding him standing in one of the areas of the TokiToki Tower. I found him in the Plaza of Time, however I believe the NPC's move around as time goes on. You can identify a master because they have a unique symbol next to their name. After you accept a master, you'll find them standing in front of the space ships in the South East corner of the Time Machine Station.

As with any master, Krillin will first wish to test your skills. After a brief fight, he'll concede and agree to be your master. He'll then teach you "Orin Combo", which is a strike skill. You must then press cn_start and go to "Change Skill Set". Equip the move and then make sure to use the move in battle as much as possible. Also, have Krillin fight alongside you when you're completing Parallel Quests and things of this nature. Both of these boost favor.

After a few fights, search for him at the Time Machine Station. Once you can advance your training he will have a special interaction with you and you'll face off again. The second time, he'll give you his technique "Destructo Disk", A "Ki Blast" special attack. Repeat the process above. The third and final skill he gives you is the "Spread Shot Retreat" which is an evasive skill. I used this paired with Destructo Disk to gain favor while having him fight by my side. Continue to do this and you should earn the final battle with him, which will net you this achievement and the "Scatter Kamehameha" Ultimate Attack. It's worth noting his last battle must be a win with Destructo Disk. The one prior must be won with the Orin Strike.

You can only have one master at a time, so make sure you're ready to spend some time with whatever master you currently have. After finishing your training with Krillin, you'll keep your progress and be able to find a new master. You can also stop mid-way if you feel like it and resume later.

SanadaLike I said above, they move around after every battle. Are you saying you can't find them, or are they not allowing you to study under them? If you look at the full achievement list you can see the other masters. Not all characters you see are masters, some offer sidequests.

Training with Krillin: Beat the first half of the Saiyan Saga and reach level 5.

    Quest 1 - Reduce Krillin's health
    Reward: Orin Combo
Notes: Krillin is very low level and can be defeated easily.

Quest 2 - Reduce Krillin or Tien's health
    Reward: Destructo-Disc
Notes: You only have to defeat one of them to complete the mission so focus all your attention on a single target.

Quest 3 - Defeat Krillin with Orin Combo
    Reward: Spread Shot Retreat
Notes: Orin Combo is very difficult to land shots and requires you to be very close to the target. Krillin will not be KO'd unless you use the move on him so don't be afraid to do as much damage as possible.

    Quest 4 - Defeat Krillin with Destructo-Disc
Reward: Scatter Kamehameha, "Release your Ki!"
Notes: Krillin will not be KO'd unless you use the move on him so don't be afraid to do as much damage as possible.

    Quest 5 - Sparring (optional)
Reward: "Why is it always ME?!"

I found a way how to do every trainer achievement in like 30-45 minutes !!!!

First of all you must have unlocked Parallel Quest 43.(i think you unlock this bye completing story missions)

second equip the move(s) you got for your trainer and take him twice with you on PQ 43...

You dont need to hit anything or do any of his tricks.

All you need to do is collect the 3dragon balls and the mission is over (takes like 30-60second)

Keep doing this mission over and over and your progress for your trainer will go up really fast :) !!!
Doing this method i lvl up 3 trainers to MAX in about 2 hours...

Here is a video of someone doing it (exept he is not taking his trainers with him like you schould do )

Ive been able to go through trainers from start to finish in less then 2 hours each. Not doing any story missions, and not trying to level up.

Equip every move they give you, and then go to a PQ and choose them for both allies. Do their moves as much as possible. If you have Super Saiyan, just keep spamming their moves. Also use their move as the finishing move as often as you can.

After you do a few PQs pause, go to player data and hit LB to see your progress bar with them. It should be moving up (small amounts every 2-3 matches).
