This achievement is unlocked once you have cleared all caves and striking locales in each area in the Ebonheart Pact territory and unlocked the in game 'EbonheartMaster Explorer' achievement.

A 'cleared' cave/locale will show up on your map as white.

You only have to clear striking locales and caves (not any other area such as towns/dungeons).

If you go to your menu, journal, achievements, then exploration you can look through the list for "[Area] Cave Delver" and "[Area] Pathfinder" to see how much progress you have towards the achievement in that area.

    Striking locales:

Striking Locales show up on the map as an eye.

Simply enter the area where the eye is and it should discover it. This classes it as being cleared.

    Caves:

Caves often have a quest in them, but this is not necessary to complete for the area to be 'cleared'. Instead you can ignore it and just travel through the cave until you reach its boss. The cave boss will have the special heath bar and a unique name. Once you have defeated the boss you should get an in game achievement and the cave should be classed as cleared.

    Maps:

These maps show every cave/locale in each area. Use them to make sure you haven't missed anything.

ZemidekI've noticed that some towns and places (Towns mostly) even though visited stay in a dark color, are they supposed to be in white color? and if so, how can I turn a Town into a white color. (For Example, Dhalmora in Bal Foyen)

QozulWith towns and locales (such as ruins) you must complete a quest in the area. Look around the area for a black with white boarder quest marker, go to it, and talk to the quest giver. Follow that quest and the area will likely turn white on your map.

If it still hasn't turned white then there is another quest to be completed (probably a follow on from the first quest), this is less common. Often the original quest giver is also the quest giver of the second quest. If in doubt then follow the first paragraph again.

A good way to know that you have begun the quest you need to 'clear' the area is when you accept the quest a pop up will appear which has the name of the area and a short sentence describing what you will have done. You can then hover over the area symbol on your map and it should also have that text.

Pure OmegaDoes this require you to be in the ebonheart alliance? Or can you explore more after the main story?

QozulOnce you have completed the final main quest and reached VR1 you will receive Cadwell's Almanac. This will provide you access to another alliance territory, this is split into Cadwell's Silver and Cadwell's Gold (one for each remaining alliance). E.g. the Cadwell's Silver for the Aldmeri Dominion is the Ebonheart Pact.

Now you have access to the next alliance, and you progress it in a similar way as if you had started there; you have access to all of the quests and areas, and hence can get this achievement with a non EP alliance character.
