How to unlock the Survivalist achievement

    I recently discovered a way to glitch this!

    When you get the message on screen at the dawn of a new day, e.g. "Day 10", immediately pause, return to menu, and reload the save.

    The message will still be on screen, but will now say "Day 11".

    Pause again, return to menu, reload... "Day 12".

    Using this method, I managed to skip 20 days in one, before the floating text had disappeared and faded away, by which time it's too late to glitch it out.

    Then, simply wait for the next day, when the text reappears, and go at it again!

    For those who are worried, sure enough at 50 days my achievement unlocked.

    This is a very simple achievement and can be boosted (done) right off the bat without that much game progress I literally stayed at the beginning of the level there is plenty of food (apple's and berries) to keep you fat alive.

    Just go back and forth and the food will re-appear along with enemies (randomly). Till the 50th day.

    You get messages about how many days its been. But you can just press cn_Y and the days are listed above along with how many meters you have traveled and your spiritual karma which you need to know for the other (bottom) achievements you can grind on here.

    This is the easy method but time consuming as you need to "Survive for 50 days".

    IF you are about to die i.e.; nano seconds from death IMMEDIATELY pause the game and dashboard kill the game (cn_guide -> select main screen "The Deer God" -> cn_start -> scroll down to "x Quit" -> cn_A) and just launch The Deer God again -- then replay any unsaved days. I can confirm this works since I was on top of spikes fire, and a F#%ing bear when I got bored and ventured forward nearing my 45th day. But just as soon as I knew I'm done for I dashed it and kept on going.

    I saved the game via having unprotected deer sex and immediately starting a family (which gives you family man after 5 drunken mistakes.) And the blind guy in his cabin, and another older deer (wasn't paying attention --my badroll.)

    At the same time you can grind other achievements.

    I didn't get this while grinding since I started the bottom 3 before attempting this and it took a lot of "good" kills to go from super evil RED deer to normal. But its best to do this one (as people suggest in their guide) before the bottom 3

    Dlonix13I'm not sure if this is what you were saying....but I can confirm you absolutely do not have to stay alive for the fifty days to get the achievement. I have died more times than I can count and it popped for me on day fifty. Like you said....during this time you can manage to sweep up those others....as the I snagged the goody two shoes during this stint.
