I used this method of attack when I was playing GTA IV to get both "One Man Army" and "Walk Free".

Go to Happiness island with about 10 RPG's. Get up to a two or three star by killing random people/cops. When the helicopters come, take them down with the RPG's and once you have the 4 star, grab a boat (there are fast one's near the peer) and take off. You will outrun them on sea in just a matter of seconds.
The nifty part of this is that you won't ever run into any cops other than air type. So none of those nasty bugger's that run you over when they pull up. |

| I gained this achievement by heading north of the centre island. Near the top of the map are 2 subway entrances. Close to one of the entrances I gained a 5 star wanted level (unintentionally, I was aiming for 4) and entered the subway, no policers followed or were present in the station. I then just followed the train tracks until I was clear of the police circle. Being underground stops any helicopters continually tracking you. |

| Well get 2 stars, then call romans taxi and set a way point to the other side of the map(i.e. really far away.) Then get in the taxi and start shooting stuff till u have 4 stars then press a to skip the journey. |

Go to the north side of the Airport runway. Once there you will recieve a 4 star wanted level. Head along the left side of the runway and around the corner onto the next runway staying to the left. Once you reach near the end of the runway you should be leaving the radar circle on you mini map and should have no problems then losing your level.

You don't really need to outrun the cops on foot u can just use a car.
The fastest way to get this achvmnt is to drive in to the police station in Algonquin. The station is a restricted area, after you drive in you'll get a 4 star wanted level, then just turn around and had straight out of there before the cops arrive.Don't turn, just go straight on, and you're out of the flashing zone.You'll unlock this achvmnt in less than 40 seconds.I got this achvmnt accidenttally without even trying. |

It might be far too late to write this, but I discovered a great way completely by accident.
First you are going to need Roman's Taxi unlocked. Mark the location as far across the map as you can. Then just start shooting stuff until you get 4 stars. Next, just simply skip the ride and appear way across the map. The stars will vanish and your achievement should pop up.
Also, note this will not work in any other taxi, because when you shoot, the driver will get scared and run away. |
