to obtain this achievement you'll need to survive 200 miles in the one playthrough of endless mode. it is NOT cumulative.

I'm not going to bother making a guide for the 100 mile achievement because that one pales in comparison to this one. the difference after the 100 mile mark is completely different than the first 100 miles of endless mode. I'll get into more detail below.

MILES 1-100

It's all about preparation for the first 100 miles. You'll want to eventually craft a full set of bear hide gear, a fully upgraded raft, all 4 tools, and a stockpile of max stacked materials in your inventory and raft inventory.

Create 4 pouches to expand Scout's inventory to the max as soon as you can.
That's usually the first thing i'll try to do when I start any playthrough. Having the extra space is a godsend. You never want to get in the stupid situation of figuring out what item is most important to not leave behind.

I cannot stress enough on the fact to loot EVERYWHERE. The more places you land the better. Once your raft is fully upgraded you'll have an insanely easy time for the remainder of the first 100 miles.

You need jerky, and quit eating it. A jerky stockpile is absolutely vital for miles 100-200.
Jerky never spoils, and you're going to need plenty of salt. Salt can be found randomly in different locations (I have better luck in shop areas), and also on the river while rafting. Occasionally light blue illuminated islands will show up while rafting and you can press A on them to be granted with a random piece of loot. I've seen plenty of salt's come out of those from my personal experience.

If you've been looting every location to the best of your ability, you shouldn't have any problems living off of the meat you've accumulated from wolf, rabbit, and boar kills.
I personally had plenty of cooked meat spoil on me because I just had too much I didn't know what to do with it.

My inventory looked a little something close to this by mile 100:

18 jerky
3-5 cooked meat
10 penicillin
5 splints
10 bandages
5 aloe
10 alcohol
2 dandelion tea
2 sumae tea
10 lumber
10 flint
80 cattails
20 braided cord
20 saplings
5 repair patches
2-3 gas

Miles 100-200

This is more or less where it starts getting insane.

All regions are now completely over run with wilderness locations with the exception of maybe 1 location per region that is not wilderness.

Food and Supplies are now very VERY scarce on each location. It's almost not worth it to explore locations very hard anymore.

I will try to outline very key points to making it to 200:

The game seems to start cycling the same regions over and over again. However, marinas are now incredibly rare. I only ever saw one per cycle and i'm not even sure if that's a guarantee. If you don't take care of your raft, you'll die. I got down to 20% raft health around 165 miles because I was getting a little careless and I almost suffered for it. Luckily by 175 they gave me my marina so I could repair my raft.

This one is totally your call. If you are confident in your rafting skills, utilize this speedway. I did and can get you downriver pretty fast, however its a high risk high reward thing because if your raft takes too much damage and you take that final 10% hit, it's all over. The speed is fantastic though.

With the replacement of wilderness locations everywhere, the chance of a bear and wolf fight is very high. Sometimes you'll arrive at a location and hear an angry bear. Wait until the fight is over and collect the spoils. This meat is very important because you don't want to dig into your jerky stash unless you absolutely have to.

There just isn't enough resources to make exploring beneficial. i only checked locations for bear fights. Otherwise I would just dock, eat, sleep, drink, gas up, and leave.

Eventually each cycle will put you in the desolate wasteland biome that has clear skies, and SLOW WATERS. This is the absolute worst. It almost caused me a pain back in the first 100 miles because I didn't have my water purifier on my raft, and didn't have my motor, and i started running out of charcoal. Basically I ALMOST had to start drinking polluted water to stay hydrated. You'll want to book it out of this region as fast as possible. Alternate between 3 pushes of the x button, and the motor. when the blue bar fills back up, 3 pushes of the x button, and the motor. Rinse and repeat until you get out of this god forsaken place.

If you do this you're just wasting time you have to stop to eat more food and drink more water. the main one here is hunger because food is so precious.

For me I tried to speed run the last 100 miles. I got to the 200 mile mark with 8 jerky left in my stash and whole lot less of my cattails (30 to be exact). The final 100 mile stretch isn't easy, but just be efficient, stay positive, and take care of that raft.

Congrats if you got this one. Thanks for reading. I hope this helps some of you! Comment if you have questions or fears and I'll do my best to answer them asap.
