To unlock the IDOL achievement you must use each of the 10 girls for at least one song. The fastest way to unlock this is to play the game using trios as each song will count toward the achievement for all three girls in your trio.

More than likely you will obtain this automatically while going for the "Red Star" achievements for using each girl for 5 songs.
