Jormungand is found at the bottom depth of the M.o.Sea and intrudes on all non-hiding, non-boss battles after a few turns.

Battling this lineage type can take a good number of turns, as he has a fairly high max HP and tends to heal himself during the battle. He also has an annoying habit of stripping buffs (including divinities) from your party. Though the most annoying thing that usually caused my party's downfall was his ability to remove one of your party members from the fight for a few turns, this isn't an uncommon ability in this dungeon, but in most other fights is wasn't really unmanageable as he found it easy to wipe out my party after removing my Knight from being able to defend them. The easiest solution to this problem is a unique accessory item called 'Spirit Earring' (I actually could be wrong about the name, running from memory.). The item's description states 'Escape Resistance', which is odd wording, but it keeps the equipped person from being removed from the fight by monster skills. You should be able to find this item in accessory chests (I believe I found it while trying to find/kill the Kraken lineage on the same floor as the teleport stone.), but it's of course luck of the draw on how long it might take to find it.

I don't have any particular deep strategy for beating Jormungand, but after I affixed this item to my Knight and he couldn't be stopped from taking hits for the rest of the party I had pretty much no issues killing him, so I hope this info is helpful if you're having trouble.
