You have to become nr 1 in the driver rankings (Grid World). This will count over all the seasons you do. I ended up with 4.5 mill reputation and the second with 3.8 mill.

Race options:
Difficulty: Basic
Pro mode: off
Locked to head camera: off
Driver assists: all on

Even with all these settings put on easy, you will get the achievement in the end.
