| Personally, after reading Adams solution I kinda thought "That's all sorta obvious" so I figured I would clear a few things up. For starters, you don't need to finish them off with an ultimate attack or even worry about how you fight as long as you get the job done. With Very hard difficulty you just have to play the way you are comfortable in order to beat the opponent and considering you don't have to sweat getting a Z ranking (There is no achievement for very hard Z rankings) as long as you win, you can move on. For starters, The heavy attacks where you can hold them to break guards confuse the hell out of the AI opponents. This is so useful when you want to close in on the enemy you can fly towards them and then hold Y and they usually just guard. (Wish that was the case with Z difficulty!) One part of Adams guide was spot on, Whenever you can use Aura Spark, do it! It increases your stats a bit and is pretty much infinite ki for a short period of time or until you use your ultimate / the button mash sequence attack. Also, as for transformation typically you are already transformed if you can be and if not you don't really have to worry about using them. I beat the whole very hard story without transforming because honestly, It doesn't do a whole lot and usually in the case of goku I prefer his push away energy move vs the dragon fist. Also you want to use the RT guard where you take no damage whenever an ultimate is heading your way as well as a charge attack, it blocks everything except a grapple so don't sit in it for too long. Overall you can't really write a perfect guide for this as it's all about how you play however I hope these tips have helped you in some way or another. |
