"In Chapter Nine, you will fight a sub-boss called the Amazonian Death Worm, after which you will be outside. You'll need to cross two open bodies of water. The first will contain giant worms that you can either kill or run past. The second is full of Blood Eels. Simply drop into the water with your back to the wall and use the Gatling Gun to take them out before proceeding. In the next clearing, you will find the seventh Test of Valor and a Save Point.

Bone Scorpions
Bugs
Strategy: This is probably one of the easiest challenges. Simply pick your favorite weapon and chain together level two Ultimate Techniques until everything is dead."

I prefer the Scythe UT because you can avoid close combat. Run around until you have a lot of enemies at one spot. Jump 2-3 times away, charge your Scythe and kill them all. Since you kill them with a UT you can also farm some yellow essences. |

| Stand in middle of area and let all the bug things get close then use fully upgraded Wind ninpo. Some red essence is usually dropped so just keep repeating until all are dead. |

Round them up into a dense group by running around the other edge of the arena and use your Windmill Shuriken fully charged Ultimate Technique or Dragon Sword Ultimate Technique. It's an easy way to up your Ultimate technique kills total in the process that goes towards the 1000 Ultimate Technique Kills achievement.
Easy.
The Test of Valor portal for this achievement is just after the red creatures water area in Chapter 9: Heart of Darkness. Can't miss it. |
