To get all of the "win as a russian, greek, roman, etc. civilization" achievements i went to scenarios and chose lightning round on chieftain difficulty. you just need to develop like 24 technologies to win so just build a library in every city and make those cities produce science. you will win in about 15 minutes when doing this.
