My victory strategy applies to all difficulties, all victory conditions. If you do it right, you will be so powerful by the end of the game that you will be in a position to achieve whichever victory you desire. The only difference is that on harder difficulties you will have to be more careful defending your cities and it will take you longer to gain the advantage on the NPCs.

You can use whatever Civ you are most comfortable with, but if you are looking for suggestions I would recommend Russians or Japanese as they provide significant food bonuses which help your cities grow faster.

The #1 objective with my method is to grow as many cities as possible as large as possible as fast as possible, then worry about winning later.

General notes: Do not waste resources early- or mid-game on conquering cities militarily. This is a waste of resources.

There are 3 general steps to follow to victory:
(1) Expand
(2) Defend
(3) Grow

Your focus early should be Expanding & Defending.

First you want to Settle as many cities as possible as fast as possible so that you control as much land area as possible! If you get alot of cities early this will all but ensure victory later. If you have a terrible starting location, such as sandwiched between 2 Civs, or on a small island, you might want to consider just starting over right there before you waste any more time.

The system roughly works like this:
1. Settle a city.
2. On Chieftan or Warlord: Build one of your best defensive units.
On King or Emperor: Build 3 of your best defensive units and form an Army.
On Deity: Build 6 of your best defensive units and form 2 Armies. Build walls and perhaps an additional Army if the city in question borders an enemy city.

3. After the city is adequately defended, I use it to pump out one or two more Settlers before focusing on growing itself. This way you have a system where new cities will create settlers to found new cities, kind of a chain reaction if you will, "Paying it Forward" .. :)
Note I would recommend switching to a Republic as soon as possible to lessen the burden of creating Settlers.

4. Now start growing the city. Focus on FOOD so the city grows faster, and build buildings that will help population growth, like Granaries and Aqueducts. Meanwhile, Science development is more important than producing Gold, although later you will catch up on both fronts. Do NOT build any Wonders early on, they are a waste of time.

5. Sometimes I will found 2 or 3 close together, and use them ONLY to pump out settlers. I would recommend you continue using Republic government while you do this. Use the Settlers these cities pump to found new cities, or when land runs out, to speed growth of existing cities. Put settlers and Archers (or Pikemen) on boats and settle them on small uninhabited islands. They will grow slowly af first, but later when you can rush build a harbor, they will get HUGE FAST! Build Granaries, Aqueducts, and Harbors as soon as possible. In my opinion, your greatest resource in Civ Rev is not a resource at all: It's your population!!! The more pop you have, the more you can do and create, and that's what wins the game, especially against the computer AI.

6. If you have done well defending, expanding, and building, you should be in a pretty good position by around 1800 AD. (On King; Usually will be earlier on easier difficulties, and later on harder ones.). If you MUST engage in a War during this time, only fight ONE opponent at a time. Although I would recommend just defending your cities and using your resources for building if possible.

7. By now, your goal is to have 7 to 10 cities total. Ideally if you had enough land to work with, you should have at least one City at Size 31, a couple at Size 20+ and the rest at least Level 15 or so. You should now be able to achieve good production levels and rake in a substantial amount of Gold or Science each turn because of all your cities. Now you should start rapidly catching up on any opponents who might be beating you in a certain area. Focus some cities on Science (build Libraries and Universities) and focus others on Gold (Build Marketplace and Bank) and don't waste time or resources on buildings you don't need.

By the 1900s you should have at least one city large enough to start pumping out a Wonder every 5-10 turns, I would recommend picking Military-focused ones first.

If you are behind in the Science race, you must AT LEAST focus on science enough to gain a military advantage. Focus on science just long enough to reach some military techs that your opponents don't have yet - like Combustion or Automobile for Tanks or Artillery. Once you have the Military Tech advantage, switch all your cities to max Production and pump out military units until you have a group of 5-10 Armies (based on difficulty) of OFFENSIVE units, 2-5 Armies of DEFENSIVE units, 2 RINGS of Spies, and at least 3 or 4 Solo Spies. Put them in an ARMY of your best naval units and ship them directly to your most POWERFUL enemy's capital. (Important to take down the most powerful first as they are closest to achieving victory.) Attack with Spy Ring first. As soon as a Spy Ring makes it through, do NOT use them, select "Leave without doing anything" so you don't waste your ring. Instead send a lone spy in after that to disrupt defenses, and if they have Walls, send another in to demolish a building. Often this will destroy the walls. Be sure your naval unit is adjacent to the city, and attack with all of your offensive units, keeping them on the same square as your defensive units for protection. Within a few turns you should have taken your first enemy capital, and by this time, your other cities should have enough armies built up to begin your assault on the next capital. Rinse, repeat.

Now is the fun part. Pretty soon it will feel like a snowball rolling down a mountainside; you will just keep getting bigger and bigger as your enemies get smaller, and you will feel unstoppable. Take over as many enemy cities as possible. My preference is to conquer ALL enemy cities except for ONE enemy capital which you should leave alone. Then you will have so many cities and produce so many resoulrces that you can research or create ANYTHING VERY quickly. SAVE YOUR GAME HERE. Then, capture the last enemy capital for Domination victory.

Reload the Saved game. Switch all your cities to science until you can build the spaceship. Then switch all cities to Production and switch from Science to Gold. Build the spaceship for a Space Race /Technological victory.

Reload the Saved game. By this time you have so many cities, and so many enemy cities, you should have enough wonders and great people to build the United Nations in your most productive City for a Cultural Victory.

Reload the Saved game. Switch all cities to Gold production and sell all offensive military units. Sell most of your defensive military units, especially those in cities far away from your last enemy capital. You should easily have enough money to start building World Bank in your most productive City for the Economic Victory.

Now you will easily get all victory conditions on all difficulties.

Note that Deity level IS very difficult, but eventually you will reach a certain threshold where your dominance will just begin to "snowball" and you will be unstoppable - it just takes longer in Deity and Emperor than it does in the lesser difficulties. On Deity I can win every time using this method, but I don't become extremely dominant until after 2000. After that, though, victory is swift.

On lesser difficulties like King and lower, this strategy should easily help you win by 1800s.

On the lowest difficulties (Chieftan and Warlord) you barely even have to defend your cities as you will rarely be attacked and have a large advantage.

==========================================

Alternate method: Beta Centauri Scenario.

I also found it very easy to win on the harder difficulties by playing "Beta Centauri" Scenario. Since all Civs start off with all techs, you can immediately focus on buildings that will rapidly grow your populations, then start to focus on your victory condition earlier, since all buildings will be available. Even on Deity, the AI Civs will not specialize their cities as much as you, so you will easily become more efficient at whichever victory type you are aiming for. But go all out from the start: Domination, Culture, or Economic, and build ONLY buildings that will help you achieve that goal, and only ensure that you have enough military to defend your cities. Of course this does not work for Technology victory.

Let me know if you have any questions. I know this is kind of long and I just free-formed it.

Good Luck!

I struggled on this achievement using the above methods. So I modified the "Here's looking at you, kid" achievement strategy. You should start the same way as in that guide by selecting the Beta Centarui scenario as the Greeks on Deity difficulty. Switch to a monarchy. Start your city immediately, then build another a settler. make sure all cities produce gold. settle another city close to the original. Always settle new cities on hills if available. There will be a steady flow of barbarians that will attack your cities and settlers. While you are only being attack by barbarians, one modern infantry will be enough.
Build culture and economic buildings first. I choose this order: temple, market, cathedral, bank. New cities need courthouses also. Build up modern infantry armies in all cities after those buildings are built or sooner if other civs find you first. Four cities should be enough.
The rest of the game plays out by having you pass as many turns as possible. defend always and let your units build up.

SAVE OFTEN!!! this is your advantage over the game! use it!

*LGS Hitman adds that if the other civs are getting an economic win, an additional precaution is "building the internet helped alot as they didn't double in size and I didn't have to use my nuke."

When I got towards the end, other civs were swarming me because I was leading the game. pay attention though because around the year 2348AD other cities get close to reaching their goals. The civs will ask for alliances to focus on them. Agree to their demands only here, refuse all others. turns go faster for the end of the game. You may have to build a nuke to finish a city close to an economic or cultural win.

You will always get a domination win in 2424AD. No clue why but that is the only type of win you can get without building a World Bank or United Nations building.

Hope this works for you as well!!

Thanks to LGS I Hitman

Choose to play the blitzkrieg scenario as the Aztecs. Focus on military technologies such as Bronze and Iron Working so you get archers and legions first. Try to take several cities but don't eliminate any opponents yet, you want them to be under attack from each other so they don't have time to focus on Tech.

Once your have Iron working focus on getting Navigation. You should get to it first so you will get one free Galleon. Build one other. Since everyone is fighting each other no one is looking for the artifacts so send one Galleon out to look for them. The one you want most is the Ark of the Covenant. It will put a temple in each city and for the Aztecs temples produce science. This will let you get ahead in technology. Once you've found that look around for the other artifacts and any remaining friendly villages on the map.

You may want to send the other Galleon out with a Settler on it. Find a small island somewhere and build a city. This city can be minimally defended since most of the attackers will go for the main bulk of your civilization. This will let you improve the city to optimize science production.

Once that is set up head straight for Combustion for the tanks. When you get tank armies on the ground before anyone else has rifleman you can just roll right over them. Take out all the remaining capitals for a Domination Victory.

To win this achievement you don't actually need to take over any civilizations.

I got this achievement completely by accident but you can do it easily within the first couple of tries.

I went onto the beta centauri scenario and chose the English but you can use any one you want to. Just build lots of cities, i probably had about 10 cities and just build them up gradually, make sure they are well defended because the way this needs to work is so that the enemy are soo concentrated on attacking you that they don't win any type of victory. So ensure each city has a few modern infantry armies ( because they have really high defence ). Then just hold out, don't send any troops out just leave it at a stale-mate, then the game will eventually tell you ( around 2400 ad ) that the game will end in 5 turns. At the end of these 5 turns the civ with the highest score will win a domination victory.

So just keep trying this method its easier than any other way and shouldn't take too long :)

Alright for this one, seeing as I just got it without even trying I figured I'd post a review. Now for this one I was actually trying to win a cultural victory a following a strategy by Dan the Gebil. This is what his said:

"Really easy, choose the scenario Beta Centuri and go as the greeks. Change your government to monarch. Then build multiple cities each with a temple cathedral and a courthouse. Also build the magna carta wonder. Then sit back and defend with as many modern infantry armies you can muster. Build the Manhattan wonder and nuke an enemy capital if you're struggling (but mainly for fun).
Build a city to get lots of production which you can use to build wonders. Also, when building, place them next to enemy cities so you're advanced culture can kick arse (convert them)."

Alright, now follow this guide above as best you can.
For me, capturing cities was a little difficult so I went through every wonder I could build and then focused on building up the cities I had with every building that was possible. This made my cultural the highest in the game, but without a win because there were no great persons left and I was unable to capture cities, this ALSO makes your economic score the highest or tied for the highest. Make sure your modern infantry units are stacked up high within each city you have and just defend the cities for a long ass time. Eventually a pop up appears and tells you that within 5 turns whoever has the highest score wins a domination victory. Now seeing as your cultural score should be highest, and economic is equal, by the time the turns are up your score overall is the best and boom, domination achievement gained.

All awesome solution! Just another way

I prefer the scenario "Blitzkrieg." There is no peace, but three cities from the start makes it hard for the computer to keep up on any difficulty. Set two cities for science and one for gold. Learn pottery first, and continue learning the advanced techs from pottery. Learning Irrigation first is key to pulling away from the pack. Make a save after you set up your cities and if you like the layout of your empire.

At the start leave all your cities and explore. Hopefully there is a Civ. close that you can attack. You can capture a city or two within a couple of turns. Attack right away before the fortify or get archers. If your lucky you can wipe out one Civ, have six cities and be building a wonder (The hanging Gardens is the best off the back) within five moves. If not so lucky I would still advise trying to build The Hanging Gardens early on.

Once the other Civs have archers, stop fighting, amass a small army for protection, learn techs, build useful buildings and strike them down later with an advanced army for the win!!
