The trick to defeat Vassily Kablov is to avoid him at the beginning of the match. Your vision blurs with every punch he lands. Run from him for the first two rounds. Keep your block up. If you see an opening, take it. Deliver one or two punches, then get away before he hits you. After the second round, your vision will clear and you can fight normally. I maintained my "stick and move" strategy throughout the match...blocked, landed a combo, then backed off. Wore him down (had 7 KDs), KO in the ninth. Just be patient!
