How to unlock the Vault Vanquisher achievement

This must be done on expert difficulty or you'll not get enough points. Build as much speed as possible to give you more time to do your landing and the three button presses will need to be perfect (for the landing, get the bar into the green by rotating the left analog stick). You can also use slow-mo in olympic mode to help.

BeanpotterI'm sure you're gutted right now but if you're good enough to get 17.4 then it's only a matter of time before you make the grade. Stick with it!

TheTraderGuyI’m at a crossroads. I just got this now with full power on the run-up; jumps of okay, good, perfect; and a high power on the landing.

I’m certainly not disparaging any of the solutions but it sounds like there may be more than one way to skin this cat. 17.70 was my score. Popped on first jump.

I don't think Beanpotter emphasised the imprtance of Olympic mode in his description. The transition from waggle speed to rotating the stick is impossible on the expert jump unless you use the slow-mo ability in Olympic mode.

ShiryuDXSorry but that's wrong. I myself did this after about a total of 5 vault tries on expert training, because I couldn't be bothered to continue my bad career (I'll do it all in one go).

I just made it to max speed (quite easy with the palm+waggle RS), perfected 2 of the 3 jumps ("good" on the first one). My palm was still on the stick, so after the third jump I immediately started turning around as fast as possible (a little delayed) and still hit 17.4, achievement popped up!

Just wanted to point out that it IS possible in training and you don't need A LOT of luck for it unlike 100m and others. :)

I managed to do this on challenge mode without using slow mo. It has to be done with the expert difficulty, Otherwise you will not get enough points. Build up and try and get top speed or at least as high as you can. Make sure you get a perfect on all the jump's and then as soon as you have done that rotate furiousley to get the perfect landing, Took me 4 attempts but i did it and did not really have a probem not using the slow mo.

ARCHER MIKEi just got the achv in training. 17.60. i kept getting low 17's with 2 perfects and the 3rd was something else. i use a/b for running and maxed it out before hitting the RT 3times and getting perfect on all of them and then rotating the left thumbstick counterclockwise as fast as i could and finally his feet planted.
