After having no luck with Ivy or Nightmare, as listed before, I tried Taki.
Just hold ->, let Taki take about one step, and then press B to do a spinning kick.
Got to about 40 wins with this method.
Note: Unlocks after you die having beaten 25 people, not after the 25th win itself. |

I am aware this achievement can be obtained with any character and personal preference may be a factor.
But for players who don't wish to learn complex tactics and moves, simply select IVY.
As soon as each round starts hold down BOTH the analogue stick (or) the D-pad right AT THE SAME TIME as pressing the Y button.
This performs a lunging attack with her sword which extends long enough to hit an enemy from their starting position.
If an enemy sidesteps or steps backwards the chances are that if you continually spam this move it will eventually hit them before they get near you.
Enemies such as Voldo, Xianghua, Sophitia and Taki are the most notorious for these evasions, so keep your wits about you.
I managed 37 wins, way above what I expected. My second closest was Siegfried with 22 wins.
Just keep your cool and with this technique it should take no more than 2-3 attempts max.
Comment with any issues. |

I tried the Nightmare method, bu I kept finding that the opponent was just backstepping/sidestepping the blow and then KOing me, so I tried some other characters, and actually managed to get to 57 wins with Cervantes.
The key move here is his Dread Charge -> Geo Da Ray (Down, Down-Back, Back, Y).
If you use this immediately at the start of every round the CPU usually can't react in time. I would, however, have a follow-up attack ready in case they DO manage to block or sidestep.
Also, this may just be me, but it took me several tries to do this successfully, and I noticed that certain CPU opponents tend to fall into specific patterns. This might not be the same for anyone else, but here's what I noticed:
- Taki and Siegfried have a nasty habit of throwing out random attacks right at the start of a round, so I'd advise delaying the Dread Charge a little (if you don't press anything Cervantes rears back a little) before you launch the Geo Da Ray. - Cervantes, Inferno and Maxi sidestepped/blocked me more than most, so always have a follow-up ready. - Voldo and Xianghua tend to bumrush you as soon as the round begins, so GDR as soon as you can.
Lastly, this achievement does require a little luck, so be patient and stick with it! Oh, and like everyone else has said, the achievement pops on the results screen after you lose. |

| Pick Ivy. Then just hold right D-pad + Y , and should be able to perform a long range sword attack. |

| use Ivy and use this move hold down these buttons, down on d-pad Y and B buttons together at same time. This throws a sword across most of the screen and works very well and make it alot easier to get 25 wins. I got 57 wins using this method on my 3rd try. |

| Tried the rest of the solutions with no luck, most of the techniques listed use vertical attacks which can be easily sidestepped. Ivy however with free run (up+up/down+down) + X does a decently ranged (Over Taki) horizontal attack, it has you on the move already if your opponent decides to lunge and as a spinning horizontal attack covers you completely in the mid range. Using this technique I unlocked the achievement in my first try. It's not quite as aggressive as the other solutions but covers your butt better if an opponent sidesteps and counters or jumps back and doesn't want to lead in to an attack, they will have to come close to you eventually and with this attack it doesn't matter what angle they approach from. |

| I found that if you be siegfried, when the match first starts keep hold of back and wait until the opponent runs towards you, then just keep pressing Y with no direction to do his 2 hits above and one below move. As the computer is running they certainly wont block and siegfrieds reach is long enough for them not to hit you. |

Get this achievement in 2 easy steps! 1. Pick Kilik. 2. Wait for the opponent to rush you, then thrust. (Use BACK + Y to thrust your spear.) The achievement unlocks when you lose. I got up to 36 wins with this method! |
