Licenses are earned by completing a series of challenges on each track type. The easiest to earn your first license is the Speedway or Super Speedway, since you don't have to worry much about braking, just keep the gas down.

After you complete 10/10 challenges for an individual racetrack type, you will earn your first license. Bronze medals are sufficient for unlocking the Achievement.
