The Hero and the Madman will unlock when you complete the game. This is a story related achievement.
You do not have to do any side missions, HVT missions, part collections, etc to unlock this.
The story related missions/outposts are as follows broken down by faction:
Universal Petroleum (UP) - 7 Missions - Universal Petroleum, The Devastator, Phone Tag, Altagracia Outpost, Maracaibo Airport Outpost, Cabimas Outpost, and Leave No Trace.
People's Liberation Army of Venezuela (P.L.A.V.) - 6 Missions - Introduction to the P.L.A.V., Orinoco River Outpost, Eastern Merida Outpost, Paint the Town, Tropical Island Getaway, and Corporate Headhunting.
Pirates - 2 Missions - Central Island Outpost and Mainland Outpost.
Executive Operations (PMC) - 7 Missions - Rescue Carmona, Moving In, Doom Patrol, Misha Milanich (must recruit Eva before doing this one because this mission is only attainable by talking to her), Finding Blanco, Get Solano, and Get Solano (second time/last mission).
NOTE: You only have to do either the AN or Chinese missions (you can pick).
Allied Nations (AN) - 3 Missions - Missile Command, Lost and Found, and Battle for Caracas vs. China.
China - 4 Missions - Medusplosion, Exit Strategy, Price of Gas, and Battle for Caracas vs. Allies (MarkLaing07 and ParsleyParsnips both verified that the mission "Medusplosion" is not required for this achievement). |
