After just getting this achievement after considerable frustration I have determined that the other solutions are missing 1 key step. You may want to surface your garden with ice to make it a little easier although it is not absolutely necessary.
1) Dig a bunch of holes near one edge.
2) Back up about 3/4 of the length of the garden and place a candy.
3) Enable advanced camera controls.
4) Use the Left Trigger to zoom all the way out.
5) Tap slightly up on the right stick.
6) Putt the candy with the shovel. |

| Make sure you have ice on the ground, not grass. The putts will go much further than on grass. Measure for how long you can putt. Put a few holes on the edge of your garden and then putt the sweet on the ice towards the holes. The distance you have to putt is about 3/4 of the garden space. Line up your sweet, preferably joy sweet (doesn't break easily) and have your shovel on the left side of the sweet with the hole at 12´o clock. Then putt. It should take you about five attempts. |

Make sure that you have the advanced camera controls enabled.
To enable them, press Start, highlight the controller and press A.
Doing this will allow you to put the candy further than with the basic controls, enabling you to get this achievement. |

For this achievement you first need to use your shovel to dig a bunch of seed holes. When you select the shovel you'll see an on screen prompt to dig a pong or to dig a hole, for this you need to dig a hole which you do by pressing the "A" button. Dig a bunch of holes relatively close together and then buy some candy from the store and place it well away from the holes, return to your garden and get the shovel out again. With the shovel out you need to hover over the candy and press the "X" button to putt it, doing this will send it across your garden and if aimed correctly it should end up in one of your seed holes.
