Once you've finished the campaign, my advice would be to continually replay the "Bug Buffet" multiplayer party game (with a second controller if necessary). Just jump into the air and inhale (B) on the way down- and each time you do it will net you between 2-4 simultaneous swarm bonuses!
I got the achievement after completing the campaign normally and playing this level three times. You'd be surprised at how quickly this level racks them up. |

Best level to do this on is "Level 12: Skittish Schools".
In this level, you must eat 70 little guys. They come 6 in a group, and there is a set time limit to eat them all. What you need to do it follow the groups, and press B to swallow them up, this will give you a "School Bonus" which counts as getting one group.
When you finish the level, you must select whether to continue or quit, CHOOSE "Quit". On the main menu, select "Singleplayer" again, Select "Story Mode", then select "New Game". (Say Yes when it says it will overwrite), then select Level 12 again.
You will need to repeat this roughly 33 - 34 times IF you have never gotten any school bonuses previously. However, if you HAVE gotten school bonuses before, it should only take about 10 - 15 times. |

This isn't so much difficult as it is time-consuming. When you see a group of small fish or bugs, suck them all up with the B button. You can also eat them a few at a time, but if one of them is eaten by another fish or leaves the screen, it won't count.
If you see the words "School Bonus", it means you've successfully eaten the entire school.
Just keep playing the game and you'll eventually get this achievement. |

One of those really annoying achievements that is just about endurance, and since there is no way to track how close you are to getting the achievement, you start to wonder if you're doing something wrong because you think you should have it by now.
For me, I got it when I had a food bank of about 12,500 after completing about 120 levels including repeats and party challenges. |
