It can be done on Zombies if you time the shot right as well.
Just wait til you see the zombie at mid launch and BAM.
Shotgun them and you have yourself a Bulltrue on a Mythic map.
It is very unlikely to find a Mythic Zombie map since it does take forever to get one.
If anything just wait for another Grifball with Mythic to appear and try it there. |

If you're playing any variant of the infection gametype on a mythic map, the zombies typically have swords. I managed to get both the infection achievements and the bulltrue medal in one game.
Since the zombies only have swords and typically have low shields, wait until they're charging at you and blast them with the shotgun. |

I recommend playing Grifball and using your HAMMER to stop a sword carrier. Approach someone and don't get close enough for their hammer, then they will probably pull out their sword and let them start to lunge...while also pulling the hammer.
I got this and Killtacular in the same game and then got Extermination in my next Grifball on Sandbox. |

For those of you who don't know Bulltrue is a medal for killing an enemy who is in mid launch with either the Energy Sword or the Gravity Hammer. Obviously the Energy Sword is easier to find, so if your boosting this achievement, which I recommend doing there is a very simple way to get this achievement.
To lunge with the sword or hammer press RT when your reticule is red. (not B as B is to melee with the sword).
Maps which have energy swords, HERETIC and LONGSHORE
Have 1 person on the opposite team get the sword and get whoever is getting the Bulltrue medal to stand in front of him with an Assault Rifle. Have the person with the sword move forward until the reticule turns red. Then have the person with the Assault Rifle continuously fire at the person with the sword. Once the person with the sword's shields deplete have him lunge at the other person. Keep firing the Assault Rifle and you should kill him just before he kills you. |

Much easier way than grifball, because not everyone uses the sword, play Action Sack. There are a lot of sword only games, I would say if you play about 5 matches at least 2 will be a sword only playlist.
EDIT: While I just realized that I don't think I've ever seen a bulltrue on a swords-only playlist, there are still a lot of Fiesta games (13.5%) so just grab a shotty preferably and chase after the kids with swords because there are usually a lot of them. |

| Since getting grifball or a zombie map is sometimes to frustrating to get here is another solution that worked for me and 3 other guys. Just try to get 8 guys all together so you have a little time to do this one. Go to the mythic team matches so you only get mythic maps. Odds are you will get heritic quite a bit. I would suggest trying to do heritic or longshore but try to get a flag map. When you melee with the flag its aone hit kill so when you have your buddy lunging at you with the sword just try and melee him with the flag while he is lunging and it should give you the bulltrude award and hence the achievement. Took a few tries but we got it pretty easily that way. No need to do anything crazy, just takes a little time and patience. Also it will work if you just have the guy with the sword down to nothing and he lunges at you if you have a shot gun. |

You will need a second controller and some people to boost with a total of eight players including the second controllers.
I found when I boosted to go into Rumble Pit (unranked) and also the person/s after the achievement to have their second controller in, it is an 8 max party size so if you have that many or more people then split up into two games but in the one party chat. You do Rumble Pit because the second controller won't be on your team and killing a team member that has the sword won't work.
You need to find a mythic map with the sword (didn't try it with the gravity hammer though others have said it'll work), when you do have the second controller grab the sword. Bring the first controller in front of the second and melee him (remove all of his shield), aim at his head still being close and in front so the second controllers target is red. Pull the trigger on the second controller just before the first but make sure it is after or you'll shoot him before he swings/lunges.
It would be wise to use a shotgun or pistol thats quick and a one shot kill. Please let me know if you have trouble understanding it this is my first post and I may have left something out. |

What you are going to need:
1. Three people, including yourself.
2. A Mythic Map with a sword (Heretic or Longshore) or a Zombie game type.
3. Rumble Pit under Social
4. Mics so you can communicate with the players.
The first player should have the sword and should be pointing towards the guest or the second player. The third person, or the person that is attempting the achievement should get behind the player with the sword. Countdown the seconds before the player with the sword attacks. Once he/she lunges, the person behind them should assassinate the attacker. You should get the achievement within five seconds.

| play zombies or some game mode, get some one to strike at you with an energy sword, shotgun them as they lurch at you. achievement unlocked. if you dont get it, try again. Or you can stick them. |

Other possibility (actually just done that trick!):
Damage the person who is going to make the sword lunge. Then the player who needs this achievement, will throw a plasma grenade at the person who shall sword lunge at somebody else, time it right and poof! achievement unlocked :) |

| As stated the past 2 times, Grifball is the only CURRENT way to get this Achievement. I suggest you grab the ball and scout for enemies that are trying to sword your friends, and end their lives. DO NOT run straight at someone with the ball, as they will hit you and even if you live, and kill them, it won't count as a Bulltrue. I personally still haven't gotten mine. |

| The easiest and least frustrating way to get this is playing on one of the many Griffball variants on Sandbox and just look for people with energy swords out. Time it right and swing your Gravity Hammer when they are lunging at you and the achievement will pop. |

| The easiest way to get it (at least for me and my friends) was to just sticky granade someone with a sword. He will then lunge at u but the grande will denote first...giving you the achievement. Hope it helps! |

| Play griffball and use the hammer or when you have the ball people will come at you with a sword. Punch them and they should die but they must be in a LUNGE. Not a swipe. In other words, pull the right trigger, not B! |
