To win this achievement you have to complete the Ultor epilogue, a series of missions that won't become available until you've finished the other three storylines. There are five missions and one stronghold in the epilogue.

    Mission One

Not really a mission, but a cutscene where Ultor leader Vogel lays out his plans for Stilwater. Go to the mission marker and activate the cutscene.

    Mission Two

Go to the marker at the nightclub; after a brief cutscene, some Ultor guards arrive at the club to try and kill you. Shoot your way towards the doors, and when you get close you'll get a cellphone message telling you to rescue Pierce and Shaundi.

First up is Pierce. At this point you'll be facing Level 4 opposition, so there'll be lots of SWAT roadblocks and heavy vehicles, in addition to helicopters. Luckily Pierce isn't far away; still, try to get your hands on a heavy vehicle to make the trip easier.

When you reach Pierce, he is about to be killed by a bunch of Ultor guards; gun them down, and grab one of the APCs parked in the lot. With Pierce in the APC, drive to the next waypoint on the map. The APC is pretty strong and it has a roof-mounted minigun, so this part of the trip isn't too hard.

Upon reaching the marker, you'll find out that Shaundi is being held in the back of a moving van and will be killed if you don't stop the van. Chase down the van and shoot it enough times to make it stop; don't destroy it though. If you're having trouble driving and shooting, activate cruise control (left shoulder button) so you can concentrate on shooting the van. Once you bring the van to a stop, the mission ends.

    Mission Three

In this mission, you need to raise your wanted level to Level 4. Recruit some homies, and go to the marker. Once you get to the marker, stay around it and start shooting and blowing stuff up; lots of cop cars and Ultor security vehicles will converge on you, so getting to Level 4 won't be hard.

When you get the notification to go to the Forgive and Forget do so; if you stayed near the marker, there's an F&F close by.

After going through the Forgive and Forget, head to the waypoint to enter the Pyramid, the secret Ultor base. When you reach the base Gat will accompany you as you plant three bombs. Opposition here is very light, so don't worry about it too much.

Once you've planted the third bomb, a countdown timer will start: you have one minute and thirty seconds to get out of the base. There are ATVs lining the hallway; grab one and go to the marker. When you reach the marker, run to the nearby APC and follow the tunnel out of the base. Mission over.

    Stronghold

Head to the marker, and bring some homies with you. This level takes places at the shopping mall in Nob Hill. Your goal here is to kill some Ultor executives in the mall.

Enter the mall, and head for the Ultor execs marked by red circles on your minimap; there are four altogether. As soon as you kill the first one, mall security will be coming for you, but they aren't hard to handle. Deal with them as you track down and eliminate the other three execs.

When you've killed the fourth executive, you'll be asked to kill a bunch more in a meeting room, go to the marker and do so. Ultor guards will be protecting these guys, so be careful.

Once you've eliminated the executives in the board room, head up and out of the mall. Standing in your way are Ultor guards and APCs; a couple of guards have rocket launchers, so watch out. If you can, hijack an APC and head for the marker. Once you reach the marker, follow the ramps up and out of the mall.

    Mission Four

For this mission, head to the docks and hop on the jet ski marked with an arrow; your objective is to get to a yacht moored offshore.

As soon as you head out on the jet ski, you'll get a notification that a helicopter is coming for you; you'll probably see it on your left side at around the same time you get the message. The helicopter fires instant-death missiles, so immediately run the jet ski onto the shore and jump off. Once on shore, destroy the helicopter with a heavy machine gun or missiles; use precise aim (click the right stick) if the chopper is right above you.

When the helicopter is destroyed, head back into the water. If your jet ski has been blown up (and it probably has been), start swimming towards the marker. In a couple of seconds, cops on jet skis will approach you; hijack one and speed to the yacht.

Once on the yacht, gun down the five Ultor executives marked on the map; it's straightforward stuff. When you get notification that an Ultor executive is making a break for it in a boat, run to the marker and jump in the speedboat moored there. Chase after the escaping boat and destroy it with gunfire. This might take a couple of tries since you'll be chased by police boats and a helicopter, but the boat you're in can take a few hits before blowing up. Sink the fleeing boat and the mission ends.

    Mission Five

After a cutscene, Vogel tries to escape in a limo; bring the limo to a stop with some rockets. Vogel retreats into his office tower, and you can't get in because of a security lockdown.

There will be a helicopter gunship parked nearby; jump in and lift off. This next sequence is annoying: you have to destroy four security boxes on the sides of the office building; two are low near the ground, and the other two are higher up. As you're doing this, Ultor gunships will attack you; while you only have to deal with one at a time, their missiles can destroy your helicopter in a couple of hits. When you get the notification that an Ultor gunship is approaching, quickly scan the horizon and pick it out. Keep the cursor over it, and when the target indicator turns red, fire guided missiles at it; it'll probably take two rockets to knock out a chopper.

In between battling helicopters, destroy the security boxes with rockets or machine gun fire; rockets are quicker. When you destroy the last one, you'll get notification to go to the top of the building. Near the top of the Ultor tower are a series of bluish windows; approach them in the helicopter, and when you get close enough a cutscene will start.

When you've regained control of your character, your goal is to take out Vogel; he's easy to beat. Defeat Vogel, and enjoy the final cutscene. Congratulations, the Saints are the rulers of Stilwater and you're the owner of the Brighter Future achievement.

eNaRGeI found a less stressful way to complete the "helicopter vs building" part of Mission Five. Make sure you have a full load of RPGs before you start.

I kept getting shot down after about two power stations and came up with an alternative approach. So, after it tells you to go to the attack chopper, run and get in and get straight back out of it. This activates the attack choppers to come look for you but being on the ground it's easier to take them out with either your assault rifle. Then, using the red markers on your map, head around the building and use the RPGs to take out the power stations. It takes about 3 or so rockets per red marker. They will send attack choppers after you, but they are easy prey if you're on the ground. Make sure you recruit homies to protect you while you're on the ground taking out the power stations. You will have 5 stars while you do this, but you only get minimal opposition. It worked for me and was much less stressful.

Brando83I am having trouble getting this achievement to unlock. I have played it in co-op (I have all of the epilogues checked off under co-op) and it did not unlock. I went back and played all of the missions (albeit in reverse order) in the Ultor epilogue in single player as well, but it still hasn't unlocked for me. I have also tried restarting the game to no avail.

    Anyone have any ideas?

AccelerettoMission 4 is a joke, that helicopter shoots me almost as soon as it arrives. Sick of this glitchy, shitty game.

RhyoliticFor me, the achievement didn't pop until sitting through the credits. Whether that is true for anyone else, I don't know, but it's what happened to me.

As he said, for Mission 4, after you get on the jetski, immediately head for shore. You can hide around part of the big hotel/building thing. If you're on casual, a single RPG will take out the chopper. I was getting real tired of having to drive back from the hideout every single time till I read the solution. That is one thing that is definitely bad about these games, they put the stupid checkpoints at places that make you do a lot of extra, pointless running if you die.
