It will be evident that you're being chased. There is a item on the bottom right of your screen that will be flashing red and blue colors when you're being chased, as well as including some words about how they are chasing you (In pursuit, Searching). If they aren't in pursuit, look for a cop on the mini map in the bottom left (cops are the blue arrows), let them catch up, and then start running away.
If you have a fast car or a motorcycle, you can simply outrun them. Otherwise make some turns to keep them off your tail. They will really only catch you if you damage out or crash into something that essentially brings you to a halt. You will get arrested and they will take $200 something dollarsish, maybe more, maybe less, depending accordingly on your progress in the game. It's really not that much relative to how much you'll get in the game.
Once they are no longer in pursuit and are scanning for you, you can hide, or you can just drive around making sure to avoid the cops (blue arrows). Sooner or later they'll give up and the achievement will pop. |
