This is not my video, but I found this the best way to get this achievement.
Just a tip - if you want this achievement early on, you can take the Kawasaki Ninja for a test drive from the garage while it is still locked, go to this area (by coming out of the garage then following the road on the left) and do it. Maxxing out the stats isn't necessary. Doing it this way rather than the race editor way (shown in the video) means there is a lot of traffic to avoid, so it may take a few tries.

| purchase the ninja motorcycle and max out its stats. Get into the game and head towards the the pier. Get plenty of speed up, go around the end of the pier, and when heading along the straight towards the jump, use nitro twice. This should give you enough speed to land on the far bridge that crosses the highway and enough distance for the achievement |

go down past the trainyard into the water duct area.
start from one wall of either side, and ride without any collisions about 3/4 of the way down the flat avoiding all of the jumps until the final one, use two nitros on the last part of the straightaway if you can, and while in mid air, hit your nitro again and it will carry you the rest of the way
EDIT: If you purchase the South Central DLC, it extends the water duct area considerably, giving you TONS of room to build up your speed before hitting one of the jumps mentioned earlier. This has to be the easiest spot. |

| Purchase the first bike and max out the stats. Go to the far right lower side of the map (downtown) and find the single loop off the freeway heading back into the center of the map. This leads to a ramp in between skyscrapers that with ample use of nitro will give you the distance for the jump. |
