okay so first off you need to beat all of the regional champs, aka the hills champ, downtown champ, beach champ etc.

once you beat them, you will open up the opportunity to race against the city champ. you have to beat him in order to race *any* of the car-specific champs.

once you beat the city champ, you will start to unlock the car champs after you reach the highest level of skill in each type of car.

when you unlock the exotic champ, he will be racing in a suped-up Ford GT. in order to beat him you must be racing in an exotic car yourself. If you feel skilled enough in a Ford GT at the maxed out stats, go for it, but those things are incredibly fast and require perfect control.

Because of the somewhat adjusted rubber-band AI that was implemented in the title update, you can now beat the champ with an exotic car that has lower stats. I used a maxed out Lambo Miura because of its amazing drift abilities.

Anyway, you must beat the champ in only one race, and if you lose you can retry as many times as you like. Just make sure that you pick the fastest and most advanced exotic vehicle that you are 100% comfortable with, otherwise you will find little success
