You can get this by playing single/multiplayer for a long time while getting all of the other achievements, but the majority of people will end up finishing everything except this achievement with about 3500 - 4000 miles racked up. Personally I end up with only 3300.
Here is how to do it without actually playing (You need rubberbands or anything that can hold some buttons down):
1. Get the Ducati 999 and put Level 2 parts on it.
2. Create an online cruise and make all open slots private (so nobody can join).
3. Head down to the beach and go to the left side of the pier.
4. Rubberband your left joystick pointing to the left or right. Rubberband the right trigger all the way down.
5. It should continuously go in a large circle going about 90-95 miles an hour.
6. Go watch a movie, do some cleaning, do some homework, surf the net, whatever. It will go by itself. Now if you used a wireless controller it will shutoff every 20-30 minutes, so you either need to wiggle the right joystick every so often or use a wired controller. **It is recommended that you check your game every 30 minutes - 1 hour as your bike may go of course sometimes**
7. This will take a loooong time (1000 miles at 90mph = 11.1 hours) so this isn't a get rich quick kind of thing, but at least you wont have to continue playing a game you are bored of.
