Pretty easy to do.
1. Get a buddy and start a skirmish match. ( Pick a smallish map to make things faster...we did it on Reagan)
2. Pick the battalion which gives you the secondary attack for tanks and deploy as many tanks as you can.
3. You each take 1 uplink for the constant CP
4. Put all of your tanks on one side of the map and have your buddy put all of his tanks on the other side of the map.
5. Now you simply take turns sending Command Vehicles each other's tanks. Make sure you unit kill the CV or it won't count.
If you followed these steps you should have 7 units on the field... 1 rifleman and 6 tanks. So it might take a game or two in order for both of you to get the achievement. I recommend the maximum number of tanks because those command vehicles are tough suckers.
Note: In order to get credit for this achievement, you have to do the unit killing with the tanks.. No air striking down units, or WMDs. |

I did this one by myself, offline.
All I did was in skirmish, seige a capitol 15 times.
The defender can't retreat downed units, and the AI always has a command vehicle. ie, you end up killing the command vehicle each time.
On easy difficulty, you should be able to do this very quickly. |

There are two methods how to do this; Offline in Skirmish mode or Online with a friend in either skirmish or Theater of War.
By yourself
Choose Skirmish from the main menu and do a Single Player match. Select the "Battle of USS Reagan Seabase" and make sure to play as the defender (by swapping sides if necessary) by pushing the X button. Start the game by pressing the A button. You will see your deployment screen. Press X again and choose "Armor" which will give you level 3 Tanks and Transports which have a secondary attack. Select 6 Tanks and 2 Transports as a starting deployment.
When the game starts, select all units and make a group by holding the L trigger and pressing the Y button. Order the group to go to Foxtrot and then to Delta (or directly to delta if you have voice control). Since your units are a group the Transports won't rush ahead. As your troops reach the top of the ramp, press down on the right analog stick. This will enable your goggles. Look at Alpha and Delta. If you see a command Vehicle then pursue. If not quit and repeat.
If the AI deployed a Command Vehicle you can now deploy an infantry unit and upgrade an uplink with EMP. Force your way through the enemy lines and kill everytihng. Once you down the Command Vehicle, EMP it and use some special attacks on the downed unit. You will destroy it and be awarded one Command Vehicle kill. Rinse and repeat at your leisure.
Online
Talk to your peer and arrange to play the same map either in Theater of War or Skirmish. Again the "Battle of USS Reagan Seabase" is a great choice. If that one should not be available, select the smallest one you can find. Use the "Armor" Task force as described above or your best mechanised units if playing Theater of War. Entrenched Engineers will also do fine. Have four units lay in wait for your peer to send in his Command Vehicle and destroy it. EMPing the downed vehicle is a good way to quickly kill it. If the rescue chopper tries to get hold of the downed unit, EMP it as it will net you more time to go for the kill.
Before sending in your Command Vehicle to be destroyed be sure to command your drones to stand guard at your upgraded Uplink. This will lower the time the units will need to kill the Command Vehicle due to the absence of drone units they will need to kill.
If you have good Engineers in Theater of War you can also lay some minefields. They are great for taking out slow units as the Command Vehicle and will go towards the "BOOM" achievement!
Be sure not to use supports to kill the Command Vehicles as they will not count towards the achievement. With supports I mean off-map supports like Air Strikes, Force Recons and WMDs. |
