The trick with this level is to stay as far back as possible, this way you get a wider view of the enemies in front of you, which is very useful as they flank.
I would stay back and throw 2 grenades as far as possible, one left one right. This would hopefully kill as many enemies as possible, then I would use the rifle to pick off as many as I could long range, then move forward spraying Type 100. Hopefully your AI team will have cleaned them up for you. But beware stragglers.
Also never remain in iron sights, LT, for more than 2/3 seconds at a time as you wont see the grenade indicator. If a grenade is near you try to move backwards as fast as possible, trying to throw it back is usually fatal, and running foward will generally mean you run into it.
If you use the 2 frags, rifle then spray and run technique, with liberal prone and holding back until after the team has advanced (you can hide behind them), it should make it much easier to progress. But it still requires luck. |
