This is how I did it: I took two profiles and two Xbox (mine and my brother's) to get the achievement for my profile.

    What I did was:
    - I did it on sunday morning (few people playing).
    - I started the search with my brother's profile and waited 10 seconds, if none opponent was found, started the search with my profile.
    - 90% of the times I did this, both profiles were matched on a fight.
    - The rest 10% my brother's profile found another player, hit B and go back (on both profiles). Waited a few minutes (to that new player to get bored and leave) and then repeat the process.
    - The rest is just a little luck.

Hope this helps, guys!!!! Sorry 'bout my english, I'm from Spain.

    Greetings everyone.

All I can really say about this one, is that timing is ESSENTIAL. When you do it during the day will have an impact on if you're successful or not.

    Now here goes:

Since the far superior Mortal Kombat (2011) was released back in April 2011, the majority (notice I say MAJORITY, not all) of the disgustingly good players are gone. However, the game is far from dead. Everytime I went online, there were at least 20-30 people in the chat rooms/lobbies.

But next to nobody in Ranked Matches.

If you have two copies of the game, you've got it locked down. If you're doing it with a friend, it may require a little more coordination, but it's still very doable. From what I gather, there's a very specific timing window that if you search after the other console/buddy searches (I estimated 3 seconds), you'll always match up. However, I couldn't get the timing on it.

When you DO match up however, have whoever is losing just back out with the B button. It saves time and DOES count as a win.

Remember you can keep track of your progress under the USER STATISTICS in the online menu. Once you finish a game (I played the 25th, I didn't do the quit-out, just for fun.) when your BEST STREAK under RANKED MATCH hits 25, it should pop when you get back to the menu.

If only it were that easy though. There are still people that play this game, though they all kind of suck. If you've done the Kombo Challenge(s), you may have learned some kombos that will prove useful online, and believe me when I say these can decimate your opponent. But be warned of quitters.

If it says "Your opponent has left the match," that's good. That means he quit and you get a win for that. But if it says "The connection to this game session has been lost," you might want to get your f-bombs ready, as that resets your streak, since a disconnection counts as neither a win nor a loss... and throws everything off.

As I stated up front, when during the day you do this is vital to success. I live in Central Canada and did this with two boxes at about 10am on a weekday. Only a few times did I get matched up with people (and they seemed to all be from the Netherlands), and they all sucked. Except one guy who I did squeak by on.

*Oh, and submitting negative feedback doesn't help. You'll get matched up with that dick-sponge if you submit feedback or not.*

CanaDa FwendI just boosted this successfully. I had a disconnect against a random that either counted as a win or nothing at all. The thing is that it happened during the loading screen after characters were selected. I am 100% sure that it was a "lost connection to server" situation and that my streak continued.

    SSSteinManI can confirm;

That once you in a 'Character selection screen,' the player who is not going for 25 wins streak should quit out at the 'Character selection screen' & it'll say ''Your opponent had left the match'' that counts as a win.

Repeated this for 25 times without even playing it!

Just try this method today & got the achievement pop.

This achievement is very easy to obtain if you have two profiles. Just pick a late time during the weekday when the population is even lower to give a better chance of this working:

    1) Take your dummy account and search for a match.
    2) After you see the "connection" graphic bounce about five iterations, have your main profile actually attempt to connect.
    3) Your main profile should connect with your dummy account in about three "bounce" iterations while connecting. If you don't see it connect right away, back out and try again.
    4) Once you are paired with your dummy, have the dummy quit the match. This will not count as a match played, but it will count as a win.

If your dummy connects with another gamer before you find your main profile tries to connect, simply quit in the lobby to give them the win, then wait a bit before attempting again to see if they connect to a different match before reattempting.

Repeat this process until you have accumulated 25 wins, and the achievement is yours, no problem.

NOTE: As stated, quitting out during the lobby will give you a win, but will not count as a match played. Therefore, it is entirely possible to get this achievement before getting "Contender", which requires 10 matches to be played in multiplayer.

    Hope this is helpful.
