Another solution which I take no credit for, i'm merely sharing the love... I found this on xbox360a.
A whole evening of trying various strategies over and over eventually led me to one that worked first time. I found it on the x360a sister site ps3trophies from a post made by a Lukey52. His method is:
"you (rising sun) vs 3 medium (rising sun). Make them all naomi. Start with 10,000. You need to start in the top right (I did but I guess it works from other positions)
Choose the Ring of fire map (yes I know she loves water bare with me!)
Build the generator core
then build the ore refinery thingy.
then the mecha bay
build another ore refinery
upgrade the mech bay once
spam build Strikers.
Like this you should be able to have 3 or 4 strikers before you run out of money. Then straight away storm the base of the enemy who is on the east island. Take out her Dojo core first, then her main base then her naval yard. Leave the power plants etc! THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT!
While you are doing this you should have built another 3 strikers. Send them straight away to the west side base and do the same as above. She will not have built up much in the way of defence yet. Again. LEAVE THE POWER PLANTS ETC
Finally you send all your strikers to the south enemy. You should have 2 or 3 out of 4 from the west and the east and hopefully another 3 built. Wait until they are all together and fly into the base. Take out any anti air first followed by the dojo followed by the main base and then the naval base.
Now you will have 3 enemies with nothing but ore refineries and power plants so all you need to do is clean that up. Took me 11 minutes 44 seconds and they don't even start building their super weapons Goodluck."
For guidance, I sent three to the east base and 1 died. 4 to the west base and 2 died and 7 to the south base (which were backed up by any more units as and when they finished building). Also worthy of note is that the last base had no air defenses at all, so I only had to take out the main buildings as per the other 2 bases.
I would recommend people give this one a shot before they give up completely. The 10k credits is also extremely important as the AI just gets silly with a 40k start!
I tried this and got the achievement first time. It's simple and effective thus the reason i'd share an alternative way for those that struggled with this achievement, like me.
