The best way ive found to get these online achievements is to find a boosting buddy on a ranked match as the AI is somewhat uncoperative and won't build higher tech stuff to leach from or will just anihilate you in the attempt on higher difficulties.
select the soviet faction and build up a base as per usual without defences or units as they arent needed then send out an MCV and deploy it near the opposition base, your buddy can then capture it accessing your tech tree which allows him to send out loads of different types of units for you to leach from (remember to set the units being leached as no fire stance or they shred your hammer tanks)
i found that the unit had to be destroyed from leaching for the achievement to unlock and ships like the dreadnought etc. can be leached as well giving you plenty to choose from.

UPDATE - It seems that there is a deal of confusion about how the achievement is actually obtained, thankfully the guys at RA3 tutorials have provided a video of how to obtain it in a ranked boosting match

This achievement can be easily done with a "boosting partner" in a ranked online match. While it can be completed with an offline skirmish match against the A.I. it will take quite a bit of pre-planning and mainly luck in order to achieve it.
In order to complete it in an online ranked match follow the directions below:
-Create a 2 player map, preferably a small one to reduce travel time. Use 40,000 credits as to not have to wait on mining materials.
-One player as Soviets, other as Allies(do not need a Rising Sun player)
-Start the game and build all buildings in order to get the highest tech possible(everything but a sea port, and "Support structures")
-Build an MCV from either a seaport or vehicle facility and send it to your partners base, deploy it, and have him capture it with an engineer.(He/You should do the same thing with his MCV)
-Once captured, create all buildings again to get access to all vehicles.
-Create the following vehicles:
{Allies}
1 Riptide ACV(Either/or with the Sickle)
1 Multigunner IFV
1 Athena Cannon
1 Mirage Tank
{Soviets}
1 Sickle(Either/or with the Riptide ACV)
1 Bullfrog
1 V4 Rocket Launcher
1 Apocalypse Tank
8 Hammer Tanks
-Once all have been built, make sure all units are on "Hold Fire" Stance(Select all, Hold RT and hit "Select stance- Hold Fire")
-Send them to the middle of the map and target one hammer per enemy vehicle with the Hammer special ability(LB+X). Once each unit has been leached by the Hammer tanks, you should unlock this achievment. |
